NEW CLASSES FOR AMATEUR MOTOCROSS

As part of rules changes affecting AMA-santioned competition, the AMA Board of Diretors approved a new amateur motocross class structure at its Nov.2007 board meeting. For the most part, the class structure eliminates handicapping for two-and four-strokes engines. The structure also opens up the displacements allowances, which will allow riders to potentially complete in multiple displacements-based classes as well as their age class.

**This means you may ride a 250 cc 2 stroke in the lites class and open classes. Also you may ride a 250 F in the open class or motocross/supercross class.
